Ambaji Temple

Crowded by worshippers throughout the year, the Ambaji temple is one of the most quaint places to visit in Surat. This is the only Shakti Peeth of India that is dedicated to the Mother Goddess. It was built back in the year 1969 and is a great pilgrim spot to tour with your family. The best time to visit this temple is at the time of Purnima days when its charm is enhanced with a local fair and it is traversed by all kinds of travelers at this time. Something that makes this temple even more fantastic is the fresh air from the River Tapti that it is situated on.
