Dumas

One of the top places to visit in Surat for couples is the Dumas Beach which is situated at a distance of 20 km from the town. The sand of this beach itself defines its uniqueness from all other Indian beaches. As it is rich in its iron content, the sand of this beach appears to be more or less of eerie black colour.

While the beach is famous for its serene atmosphere, locals often associate many haunted stories too with the beach. Beachside street foods are the best to try here as you have a good count of the local delicacies available like Gathiya, Pav Bhaji, Bhajiya, etc.
