1. By Metro

Get off at Plaza Espana on either the 1 or 3 metro lines. Getting to the Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya from there is as easy as catching a bus or taking a stroll along the Magic Fountain (MNAC). If you prefer, you can take Metro Line 3 to Parallel, where you can transfer to the Cable Car (included in your metro ticket) and ride it to the top of Montjuic.

2. By Bus

The bus 150 leaves from Plaça d'Espanya and travels up the mountain to the castle. From Plaça Espanya and Montjuc, riders on the 13 can reach La Marina, where they can transfer to the neighbourhood bus (125), or the 23 bus, which travels to the Zona Franca neighbourhood. From downtown, take the 55 bus to Poble-sec, and from there, you may ride up the mountain. From Can Tunis, take bus 107 to visit the neighbourhoods up near the Montjuic Cemetery. The Montjuc stop is on the red route of the Barcelona Bus Turistic.

3. By Bicycle

Bicycles, specifically electric ones, can be utilised as a mode of transportation, but the hilly terrain of Montjuc is best suited for more vigorous cycling. Within the confines of Poble-sec and La Marina, you'll find a plethora of Bicing stations to choose from.

4. By Funicular

In less than two minutes, you may make the ascent of 76 metres from the Parallel station, where the L2 and L3 metro lines terminate, to Montjuic Park.

5. By Cable Car

The Montjuïc Cable Car, which will take you to the top of the mountain where the castle is, can be accessed from the funicular's upper station. When you get back, visit the Mirador de l'Alcalde lookout.
