History of Jordaan

By Train: If you wish to board a train directly to Jordaan from the Schiphol Airport, there’s an intercity train which will take you to Amsterdam Centraal. The Amsterdam Centraal is right next to Jordaan and shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes for you to get there by foot.

By Bus: From the Schiphol, you can take a bus ride to the Amsterdam bus station which is in close proximity to Jordaan. It might be a cheaper option as compared to the Intercity train but keep in mind that it is going to take twice as much time.
