Het Schip

The expressionist house complex, Het Schip, was constructed in 1919 by architect Michel de Klerk and is commonly known as "The Ship" because of its design. By Car: Take exit S102 off the A10 Ring Road West towards Westerpark, then follow the Transformatorweg to the Spaarndammerdijk. Then take the Spaarndammerdijk until you reach the Oostzaanstraat, where the museum is located at no. 45. There is plenty of parking available near the museum.

By Bus: Take bus 22 from Central Station or Sloterdijk Station to Spaarndammerstraat and walk about 5 minutes to Oostzaanstraat 45. Take bus 18 or 21 from the city center to the Haarlemmerplein bus stop and walk 15 minutes to Het Schip.
