Dhamapur Lake

Dhamapur Lake, which is spread over 10 acres of area, is one of the major places to see in Tarkarli, especially for those who love water sports. The lake, surrounded by the hills, was created in 1530 by king Nagesh Desai.

The water of the lake is crystal clear, with the Bhagwati temple situated near to it. Tourists who want to spend more than a day near the lake can opt for the homestay facilities available in the local villages. Most of them are huts equipped with native and rural facilities.
