Dolmabahce Palace is closed on Mondays.

The ticket purchase experience was fine, everything worked as planned with no queue and no problem whatsoever. The Palace is interesting but hardly accessible for people with disabilities and the staff, who doesn't speak any English, is not helpful.

It was the wonderful historic building. The furnishings were special to me. To take some example , there were carpets,chandeliers ,furnishings and so on. But,i it was regrettable that we couldn’t take a photos In the building.

First, the Palace and Hatem are magnificent. A must see in Istanbul. The audio guide was also excellent and easy to use. The only down side were the shoe protectors we had to use. They should be named floor protectors as that was their purpose. The plastic booties were slippery on the wood floors as well as the carpets. On the stairs they were especially cumbersome most stairways had no hand rails. I am thinking especially of the Crystal staircase who’s for us was the plywood staircase as renovations were underway. Check when they have finished to schedule your visit. We visited the Psintinb Museum which was mostly Turkish artists but for the most part very well executed. It is worth a quick visit. But the Haram was THE best!
