Deo Tibba Base Camp Trek

Trek to Deo Tibba  starts at Jagat Sukh which is 6 km southwards from Manali. This village is quite old. Trekkers can have a slight diversion to tour Rohtang pass for enjoying the grandeur of Pir Panjal range.

On the trail of this trek you can see Gaddi shepherds herding their cattle’s in the green pastures and the Chandertal lake famous for its unearthly beauty. The trekkers will also pass by the Hampta pass at a height of 4,000 metres. One can visit the tiny hamlets of Chatru also on the way.

The Deo Tibba glacier is dotted with boulders and huge rocks, but according to the locals of the surrounding areas, the glacier is full of white and black crystals which are hard to find. On reaching the Deo Tibba base, you will be offered a visual treat of gurgling stream, a carpet of colourful flowers and a magnificent sight of the Deo Tibba peak. You will find a rock bridge, which has formed naturally, over the stream.
