Winter Tour to Spiti Valley

A 9 day trip is not enough! I am a solo traveller, forst tome joining a group in over a decade of travelling. We were an all womens group with 12 people, myself being the only foreigner but Indian people are nothing short of lovely. We were very lucky to have the most competent guide, and award deserving driver who always kept us as safe and made sure we were comfortable all through out the trip. Our accomodations were the best Spiti could offer, and do think its too good of a value for the price paid. We had twin share rooms with private ensuites on all the days. On the days we didnt have hot shower it was not of the hotels fault but the limitations of the area. Food was great in the evenings and we always had more than enough to eat. Time management by guide was great given the number of days we had to work on, covered a huge area. Despite not having reached Chandrataal (as it was still closed!) he maximized time around by making sure we had plenty of options visiting Nako etc Overall a 5 star trip for its price. I would be back for a longer trip of at least 14 days or so. (Takes 2 days to get to spiti and back to Chandigarh)

I could only begin by saying this was one of the best trips till date. As it was our very first experience in high altitude , we were concerned about a lot of things and hence bombarded the Thrillophilia team with lot of questions right after the booking. Thrillophilia team did listen and respond to all our concerns right from the beginning.Vishal from Thrillophilia said "At the end of the trip , you will say it was Magical" , and it turned out exactly the same. They did take care of all our preferences. Now about the trip , Let's begin with the stays : We experienced camps , homestays and hotels. All of them had the best views ever. Just imagine , staying at the last camp in the last village of India !!! This was my first camping experience and it turned out to be the best. Homestays were the best with cosy spaces ,loved them the most. We visited almost all the places mentioned in the itinerary and got to experience all of Sun , Rain , Snow and Snowfall in Spiti. It was the first snowfall for all of us in the group and we all turned kids in Langza and Hikkim , playing with snow. Needless to say , snowfall was the best part of the trip. We explored the local food and sweets. The joy of having hot chocolate at World's highest restaurant in snowfall is something different. They say , you need to be with the right people to get the best out of a trip. And , we were blessed to be with the best group ever. We met as strangers , became friends and left as family. Satish and Ajay ( I would call them captains than guides ) were literally the best. Without them , this trip would not have been interesting. We really enjoyed the entire trip. It was fun, exciting, whole lot of new experiences throughout the trip. Pankaj and Sanjay jii were very helpful and has taken good care of everyone. It was Indeed a delightful experience exploring spiti valley under the Guides Mr. Pankaj and Mr. Sanjay. I had no clue about the Location, weather and existing conditions but i was much thrilled until I planned for this journey and surprisingly weather was not as planned but their last moment changes in itenirary as per the weather saved it all ! Guides with a hostile , warm nature made it feel easy throughout the vacation, highly appreciated ! Food had less of non vegetarian /vegetarian options though , it could have been improved . Wrapping it all , spiti journey was one of a kind which couldn't have been made easier with the arrangements from thrillophilia .

It was a best trip I’ve ever had! Mr. Ayush was so friendly and he managed everything perfectly for us. Our driver Mr Ajay had exceptional driving skills! Overall it was a great experience for us to travel with Thrillophilia!

Overall I enjoyed the spiti trip, well planned and nicely executed, the local staff including Mr Sanjay Mehta driver of vehicle were very cooperative and helpful even the coordinating team Mr Rishab and Ms Kanchan remained in touch to extend their help, it was very nice, god bless you all  My good wishes  M S Katich

Amazing Experience

From enquiring about the tour packages to the final stop in Shimla, the Thrillophilia team always exceeded my expectations in delivering quality service. Both of my SPOCs (Anshuman & Vishal) were always prompt in responding to all queries no matter how small they were. Our driver/Tour guide (Shubham Sharma aka Shubhi bhai) was very knowledgeable and experienced about the whole route and introduced us to many sightseeing locations and restaurants which are not common knowledge. Our hotel rooms and other services were above expectations, especially the food even in the remote location the quality was not compromised. Thank you Thrillophilia for such wonderful planning, we will cherish all the memories created on this tour.

Amazing experience all home 🏡 stay are great and hotel too. Best gide and driver so cooperative. Basic but grate food. Co travelers are so nice.

First of all I would like to appreciate our trip leader and driver Sunil bhaiya and Saurabh bhaiya. Without them the trip to Spiti would have not been easy. Sunil bhaiya is a well experienced leader and was very supportive and helpful. He took care of everyone in the group and made us comfortable in the entire trip. I liked evey bit of the itinerary the view, the stay, food, people everything was well organised and planned. This trip was a lifetime experience for us. We got to learn how to survive with minimum facilities happily. We would highly recommend Thrilophillia to everyone if they are planning for Spiti valley. The Terrain was very harsh at Spiti but Sunil bhaiya made sure that everyone enjoy the trip. We would definitely plan our upcoming trips with Thrilophillia. Richa & Pushpendu
