The resort delivered exactly what they claimed. Good food, good staff, good service. All in all, it was worth the money. The view from the resort serves as a cherry on top.
Great option for a 1 day visit. The pool room is great and the views from the resort are also good. The approach from Bangalore was easy but Google maps will take you through narrow roads, so it is better is to ask locals for direction Breakfast had limited options and was a bit of a letdown. Food (in-room) was of decent quality.
It was refreshing and nice break from busy life
We reached Bangalore railway station at 5 30 in the morning from our place of work. It was an amazing morning with a very pleasant weather. After breakfast and a short trip to Tippu SUltan's summer palace, a cab took us to the cave resort. We had a walk together inside the resort as soon as we reached. The underground cave walk took us to a totally different world! Our stay at the primitive room was an unique experience. The hospitality and food were really good. With my husband Ashok, I had real relaxation and fun. We did zorbing. The night walk in the campus was wonderful. Since it was a Friday, the swimming pool was all ours that we spent there around 5 hours. And in the night's focus lights inside the pool, it was unspeakably joyful experience. We had a very nice rest and the buffet breakfast on the following day was again very good. We packed our backpacks to continue our wanderings to wonderla and elsewhere. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at this cave resort. I will recommend this for a night's stay for families....
We loved our stay but they are seriously understaffed when having an event during the dinner time. We had to wait and keep asking for our food because their services staff was busy with the event. Abhishek at the restaurant was really great...he took care of us very well. The resort itself was fantastic with six different types of gorgeous pools and lovely gardens. The room was upto five star standards but the Club room should have a private sit-out. It felt claustrophobic otherwise. The sitting area was in the common passage way and faced a concrete high building side. The cheaper rooms had views of the garden and a small sit-out! The rooms need more pillows and hand towels too. The spa and salon were very well priced with great service. Though pool towels needed to be kept near the pools! We had to keep taking our room towels as we did not know where to get pool towels till day 2. But besides these minor things, our stay was very nice indeed. My only grouse is if they are having events with loud noisy music then guests should be told that. I even asked before booking if a wedding or some event would be happening. Loud music in the restaurant even at breakfast, loud guests and loud events did not work towards a peaceful getaway.
Good : Room, it's ambience, the private pool, the resort surroundings Cons : Pathetic food, not easily accessible, good roads to the resort would have been good. Overall and ok ok experience to be honest.
