World War Ii Memorial

Honoring the services of over sixteen million members of the United States of America Armed Forces and the sacrifices of over 400,000 Americans during the war, this memorial is indeed one of the great places to visit in Washington D. C.

The memorial houses bronze bas-relief panels, 56 granite pillars, a majestic pool, a northern “Atlantic” arch, a southern “Pacific” arch, and a wall of over 4,000 stars, all reminding the visitors of the tough times faced by the Americans during the war.
