Besides, now growing in popularity, the waterfalls attract a fair bit of crowd as the morning lengthens, making it more difficult to fully enjoy or admire its beauty.

Things to keep in mind while traveling to the Tukad Cepung Waterfall:

• Carry Swimwear: Unlike exterior waterfalls that are best known for their hikes along the cliffside, the Tukad Cepung falls are located within the womb of mountain caves, and requires one to wade through the river. Keeping this in mind, it would be best to carry swimwear, or water-friendly clothes along!

• Wear waterproof shoes: Since your shoes will most definitely get wet on your visit, it would be best to avoid sneakers or clothed shoes while visiting the waterfalls. Alternatively, you can choose to hike barefoot as well.

• Arrive Early: It is best to arrive early to take full advantage of the waterfalls. As the crowd deepens, it tends to get more difficult to not only enjoy the atmosphere, but also take pictures.

• You can avoid tour guides: The Tukad Cepung Waterfall is fairly easy to explore on your own, and does not have any secret nooks either. In this regard, avoiding a tour guide could help you budget your trip as well.

The Waterfalls can be reached from anywhere in the Bali island. Although, the best way to travel to this attraction would be to rent a bike or a taxi. If you’re traveling by car, then the journey would take around one hour from Ubud, and an hour and a half from places in Seminyak or Kuta. From the point of arrival, it takes a 15 minute hike to reach the actual waterfall, which can only be accessed on foot.
