About Trollstigen

This winding road, part of Norwegian County Road 63, features a dramatic series of 11 hairpin bends as it ascends the steep mountainside. The road was inaugurated in 1936, and every turn offers breathtaking views of rugged mountains, cascading waterfalls, and lush valleys.

On your way, you will witness an impressive Stigfossen waterfall, which drops 320 meters alongside the path. At the top, the Trollstigen Plateau offers panoramic vistas and a viewing platform extending over the edge, providing stunning perspectives of the winding road and the surrounding landscape. A popular tourist attraction, Trollstigen is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers exploring the dramatic fjord region of Norway.
