Situated at an approximate distance of about 30 kilometers from the center of Bangalore city, Pyramid Valley happens to be an incredibly stunning sight. This world-famous structure is nestled beautifully amidst rocky hills and lush valleys. 

Built for yoga and meditation, the slate gray Buddha Pyramid features impressive dimensions. The structure’s base area is 160 x 160 feet while its height is 102 feet.

The pyramid’s base part is built of cement, whereas its body is made of steel. A total of 40,000 tiles of cement have been positioned on the steel frame, forming a stunning mural that manifests the 4 basic elements – air, water, fire, and earth

The south face signifies fire, the north signifies air, the east signifies water, and the west signifies earth. The whole space within this huge pyramid signifies the 5th element.

1. Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple: Located at a distance of around 8.8 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple is known for its unique architecture. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this old cave temple’s specialty is that on Makar Sankranti, the rays of the sun fall on the temple’s Shivalinga directly. This mesmerizing sight propels devotees from all over the country on this particular day.    

2. Dodda Ganapathi Temple: Situated at a distance of about 8.6 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Dodda Ganapathi Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The major attraction of this old temple is the huge monolithic Ganesha statue sheltered by it. 

Dodda Ganapathi Temple is open for visiting from 6.30 AM to 1 PM and 4.30 PM to 8 PM, throughout the week. 

3. St. Mark’s Cathedral: Located at a distance of around 8.7 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, St. Mark’s Cathedral happens to be an iconic landmark of Bengaluru. Established around 200 years ago, this old structure is preserved beautifully with elegant stained glasses.

The cathedral is visited by many devotees and experience seekers, who come here to seek the blessings of the almighty and admire the architecture of the structure. 

4. Bannerghatta National Park: Situated at a distance of about 7.7 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Bannerghatta National Park serves as a habitat for tigers, lions, and bears.

The lush green park offers visitors the opportunity to experience jeep safari and interact closely with wild animals.

Located at a distance of about 0.1 kilometer from Pyramid Valley, Kebab Magic is one of the best value restaurants in Bengaluru. It is popular among locals and travelers for its excellent service, tasty food, and cheap price.

This food joint specializes in grilled chicken, chicken lollipop, shawarma rolls, tandoori items, and of course kebabs.

2. Heaven’s Gate Dhaba

Situated at a distance of around 0.3 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, Heaven’s Gate Dhaba is known popularly for its innovative hut-style ambiance.

Basically, the place is a proper Indian dhaba that specializes in spicy non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian dishes. The rates of the dishes are very nominal and the taste is also up to the mark.  

3. The Rogue Elephant

Located at a distance of around 0.6 kilometers from Pyramid Valley, The Rogue Elephant happens to be a popular open-air restaurant.

This casual dining joint serves Mediterranean, Continental, and Italian cuisines and welcomes guests majorly for lunch and dinner. The spacious and simple ambiance of the restaurant is suitable for couples as well as families. 

4. Smokehouse Deli

Tips for Visiting Pyramid Valley - 

1. Do not litter the surrounding of the Buddha Pyramid at Pyramid Valley.

From Bangalore Airport - 

Pyramid Valley is located at an approximate distance of around 80 kilometers from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. Once you land at the airport, you can easily take a local taxi and reach the valley in no more than 2 hours 35 minutes. The taxi ride from the airport to the valley will cost you around INR 1800.

Tourists can also take a local bus from the airport to the valley to reach the place at a cheaper price.
