About Museum Rudana

Rudana Art Museum, also known as Museum Rudana, is a museum in Peliatan, Gianyar Regency, Bali, Indonesia. It was constructed by Nyoman Rudana in accordance with the Bali humanist philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, in which art contributes to public well-being. More than 400 works of fine paintings and sculptures by diverse Indonesian artists are on display at Museum Rudana. The painting arrangement tries to reflect a stylistic harmony that corresponds to the building's philosophical perspective.  Include this gem in your Bali trip package from India for a truly enriching cultural experience.

Modern Indonesian artists' works are on show on the first and second floors, including Affandi, Basuki Abdullah, Srihadi Soedarsono, Nyoman Gunarsa, and Made Wianta. There are also pieces by post-modern Indonesian painters like Nyoman Erawan and Made Budhiana on display. On the third level, there are works by I Gusti Nyoman Lempad and I Gusti Ketut Kobot, as well as other traditional Balinese masters from Ubud and Batuan.

In tandem with its mission to incorporate art into everyday public life, the Museum Rudana also hosts a series of interactive activities. Painting lessons for everyone, and art workshops designed specifically for children are some of the many programs undertaken here. From time to time, the Museum also hosts art exhibitions. Rudana also rewards its visitors with free collectibles in the form of specially designed tickets and scarves.
