ISKCON Temple is among the most revered places to visit in Rajkot. Dedicated to the practice of bhakti-yoga this center comprises a temple of Hare Krishna known as Sri Sri Radha Neelmadhav Dham and an ashram. The center was built in 2003 by His Holiness Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj and inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi and Mr. Alfred Brush Ford (Ambarish Das), owner of the Ford Auto motors-US.
The temple is located on Kalawad Main Road and its majestic architecture allures pilgrims from across the country. The idols in the temple are strikingly beautiful and devotees gather to witness the spectacular Maha Aarti of the divine in his peaceful form. The ISKCON trust is responsible for the maintenance of the temple premises and also organizes religious and cultural events all around the year.
