About Bali Butterfly Park

Also known as Taman Kupu-Kupu, the Bali Butterfly Park is one of the most beautiful parks, and a significant place to visit with our exclusive Bali tour packages. Spread across an expanse of over 3,000 square metres, the park also boasts of being home to hundreds of different species of butterflies, along with other insects.

Located in the Tabanan Regency of Bali, it also ranks as the largest butterfly park in the entire Asian continent. Furthermore, the park also doubles up as a research centre, where studies are conducted for the breeding and conservation of endangered species of insects and butterflies.

Bali Butterfly park also has a museum-like area, complete with glass boxes, display cabinets and exhibition spots. This is located inside a room away from the main park, and consists of a wide array of insects, ranging from spiders, beetles and scorpions, to many more butterfly species from all over the world.

The park has many exhibits of butterflies, which have been collected from different parks of the Indonesian archipelago. Additionally, during the tour, you can also enjoy learning about the metamorphosis of different species of butterflies such as the Common Birdwing and Paradise Birdwing among others, and see how they transform from an egg to life-sized butterflies.
